The Suzuki Griquas are braced for a tough and gruelling match in Kimberley on Friday afternoon when they tackle the Pumas in the SA Cup.

Both teams will go into the clash unbeaten and whoever wins this match will most likely host the final at the end of the competition.

Late last year the Peacock Blues managed to beat the Pumas twice in the Airlink Cup.

While the Griquas are still at the top of the log the coach Pieter Bergh told OFM Sport that it’s important to man up physically and put their defence under pressure.

“We have to go out and ask question of their defence that they have not seen so far this season in their first six games,” said Bergh.

“We've got to give them intensity and physicality they haven't experienced thus far. It's important that we are accurate. We can test their defence with our attack, but we need to be accurate and keep hold of the ball.

“If we're going to make second-phase and third-phase errors and not hold on to the ball, then we'll not be asking questions of their defence.”

This afternoon’s game at the Suzuki Stadium kicks off at 14:30.
