“With the skills that I've developed during my time at the Titans I will definitely try and utilise that when I'm playing for North West.”
The former ITEC Knights opening batter, Matthew Kleinveldt, will continue his career at the North West Dragons.
Kleinveldt, spent the past season playing for the Titans, after leaving the Knights following their relegation to Division 2 at the conclusion of the 2022/23 season.
Kleinveldt is one of several exciting signings by the Dragons and they include the batter Janneman Malan and the Proteas left-arm fast bowler, Marco Jansen.
Speaking to OFM Sport from his native England, Kleinveldt, said he is excited.
“With the skills that I've developed during my time at the Titans I will definitely try and utilise that when I'm playing for North West,” said Kleinveldt.
“As you said, North West, is an up and coming franchise and they are working hard in different areas of the union to try and make it grow and establish themselves as a top contender for years to come.
“I would like to be a part of that.”
Kleinveldt is the cousin of the former Western Province and Proteas seamer, Rory Kleinveldt.
