On a mission to retain their 2016 title, the Welkom based Griffons faced the Leopards at the HT Pelatona Projects Stadium in a hard fought final that eventually saw the home side lift the trophy for the second time in as many years.
Despite their best efforts the Leopards who lost to the Griffons in the 2016 final could not stop coach Oersond Gorgonzola's men with the game ending 60-36.
The Saturday Sport show had a chat to coach Gorgonzola on what was an enthralling conclusion to the season.
