Anderson reaches last 16 in Indian Wells─── 09:51 Tue, 13 Mar 2018
South Africa’s Kevin Anderson has reached the last 16 of the Indian Wells Masters after another straight sets win in the Californian desert.
The seventh-seeded Anderson defeated Argentina’s Nicolas Kicker 7-6 (7/1), 7-6 (7/3) on Monday to reach the fourth round.
This followed Anderson’s 7-5, 6-4 win over Russia’s Evgeny Donskoy over the weekend.
Anderson will next face 11th-seeded Pablo Carreno Busta from Spain.
Anderson holds a 3-0 head-to-head record against the Spaniard, including a four-sets victory in their most recent meeting at last year’s US Open.
