Bloemfontein - The office of the Public Protector receives over 2 000 complaints every year in the Free State.
Public Protector, Busisiwe Mkhwebane, was in the Free State for the first time in her capacity as Thuli Madonsela's successor.
As she introduced herself to different stakeholders, she also highlighted the importance of her office.
Mkhwebane outlined her plans on ensuring that the public's best interests are looked after during her visit to the province recently.
