The player of the Team of Choice has been nominated in no less than received five categories including the PSL Player of the Year, the Players’ Player of the Year and the Young Player of the Year.

He will be up against the Mamelodi Sundowns duo of Hlompho Kekana and Percy Tau for the Player of the Year award.

The Free State Stars coach, Luc Eymael, has missed out of a nomination for the PSL Coach of the Year award.

Eymael, who led Ea Lla Koto to the Nedbank Cup title missed out on a nomination to Fadlu Davids of Maritzburg United, Pitso Mosimane of Mamelodi Sundowns and Milutin Sredejovic of Olrando Pirates.

The Bloemfontein Celtic midfieler, Lantshene Phalane, was nominated for the Telkom Knockout Player of the Tournament award.

The 2017/18 PSL Awards will be taking place Tuesday 29 May in Johannesburg.
