From 32 teams to 16 and now from 16 teams to 8.
The quarterfinals of the 2018 Nedbank Cup is fast approaching but before any further diski action is to be played, the Premier Soccer League will assemble to make the draw tonight.
Despite a couple of upsets in the lead up to this point, the teams that remain in contention consists of 7 PSL teams and a solitary National First Division side in the form of Ubuntu Cape Town.
The other sides that will now be waiting to discover their opponents in the last eight will be Baroka FC, Free State Stars, Kaizer Chiefs, Bloemfontein Celtic, Maritzburg United Cape Town City FC and Mamelodi Sundowns.
While it is still anyone's guess as to who will walk away with top honors, Central South Africa will be pinning their hopes on the in form Free State Stars and Bloemfontein Celtic.
The draw will be made at 19:30 this evening.
