The Nedbank Cup round of 32 tie between Super Eagles and Free State Stars could be called off for a second time, due to unplayable conditions at Goble Park in Bethlehem.

Heavy rain in the region saw the game called off on Saturday evening and postponed until Wednesday.

The Ea Lla Koto coach, Luc Eymael, told OFM Sport that if it rains this evening the match could be moved to an alternate venue.

“I hope we will play because it rain the whole night last night. I checked the pitch this morning and it was okay, but there was still a bit of water and they are trying to drain it a bit better.

“We are expecting rain again in the afternoon, so I don’t know exactly what will happen.

“Up until now there hasn’t been rain today, but it rain this afternoon I don’t know what will happen for six o’clock.

“It’s a little embarrassing….because we don’t if we will play, or if we will play tomorrow or if the PSL will perhaps move the game to another city.

“So it’s a little difficult to prepare, but we’ll just have to do it like that.”

Tonight’s game in the Eastern Free State is scheduled to kick off at 18:30.

Wednesday’s other games sees Richards Bay host the Bloemfontein Young Tigers at the Umhlathuze Sports Complex at 15:30. At 19:30 Platinum Stars host Baroka FC at the Royal Bafokeng Stadium and Stellenbosch host Highlands Park at the Athlone Stadium.
