Part 2 of this week's mid-week round of Premier Soccer League action concluded last night shaking up the log ever so slightly heading into another big weekend of diski action.

In a midfield battle at Goble Park, hosts Free State Stars came away with 3 PSL points as they beat Golden Arrows 2-1 taking them to 16 points and 8th place on the log.

Wits and Ajax Cape Town in their turn played to a goalless draw Johannesburg despite a dominant  second half performance by the newly crowned Telkom Knockout challenge champions Wits.

In the shock result of the night, Chippa United bagged three points as they stunned Kaizer Chiefs 1-0 at the Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium to move above the Amakhosi on the PSL log into 2nd position behind log leaders Sundowns.

In another titanic battle, a 47th-minute Bongi Ntuli goal helped Platinum Stars to a 1-0 away win against Polokwane City at the Old Peter Mokaba Stadium.

While lastly, the match between Bloemfontein Celtic and AmaZula was abandoned due to dangerous pitch conditions at the King Zwelithini Stadium in Umlazi, Durban.
