Celtic coach receives hefty fine─── 14:24 Wed, 17 May 2017
The Bloemfontein Celtic head coach Luc Eymael was charged with contravening an Order of the League’s Dispute Resolution Chamber dated 14 April 2017 in terms of which Eymael was ordered to resume his duties as coach with Polokwane City FC.
Eymael was found guilty and sentenced to a fine of R100 000, of which R75 000 was suspended until 30 June 2018, or until a final order is granted by a competent body setting aside the Order of the League’s DRC dated 14 April 2017 or receipt by the League of written confirmation from Polokwane City FC releasing Mr Eymael from any further obligations to Polokwane City FC.
The suspension of a part of the fine is on condition that Eymael does not take part in any football-related activities other than for and on behalf of Polokwane City FC during the period of suspension.
Eymael was ordered to pay the costs of the sitting.
