Gabadinho Mhango - Kickoff

The Premier Soccer League title contenders, Wits, have moved back to the top of the standing after beating the Soweto Giants, Orlando Pirates.

Gavin Hunts’ Clever Boys won the away match at the Orlando Stadium 2-1 to reclaim the top spot.

The former Bloemfontein Celtic striker, Gabadinho Mhango, scored a brace for the team while Happy Jele scored a 61st-minute consolation goal for the Buccaneers.

The Bucs winless streak has been extended to 9 matches and could be 10 by the time their new head coach is announced on Monday.

Meanwhile, the match between Free State Stars and SuperSport United in Orkney ended in a goalless draw, while the game between Baroka FC and Platinum Stars in Polokwane also ended in a goalless stalemate.

This weekend Pirates are away to Cape Town City FC, SuperSport face Maritzburg United, Golden Arrows are at home to Free State Stars, Platinum Stars entertain Mamelodi Sundowns, Celtic take on Chippa United and it's number 1 vs number 16 when Wits host Baroka.
