There has been another sad blow for the Gauteng department of Education, after a Grade five learner died on Friday in Diepsloot.
It is alleged that the female pupil, from Diepsloot Primary 4, died after she was struck by lightning, while walking home with fellow learners from school.
Departmental spokesperson, Steve Mabona, told OFM News that a team of psychologist will visit the school on Monday to offer the necessary counselling and support.
