NW teen murder accused granted bail─── 11:31 Sat, 07 Sep 2019
A teenager who stabbed a 23-year-old man to death earlier this week has been granted bail of R1000 in the Vryburg Magistrate’s Court, in North West.
Police spokesperson, Sam Tselanyane, has confirmed to OFM News that the 18-year-old suspect was allegedly bullied by the deceased, and as a result retaliated by stabbing the deceased in his chest while in a fight on Tuesday.
Tselanyane further added that the suspect’s parents took him to the police station after he told them what he did. The victim was already dead when police arrived at the scene. The suspect will be reappearing in the Vryburg Magistrate's Court later this month.
