The Zimbabwean international lock, Godfrey Muzanarwo, looks forward to the next chapter in his rugby career after signing for the Griquas.
The Sables player has reported for duty in Kimberley at the Currie Cup runners-up and is eager to get stuck.
The second-rower who has 16 Test caps to his name can be seen as a direct replacement for Mzwanele Zito who has since linked up with the Toyota Cheetahs.
Muzanarwo told OFM Sport that he sees the move as a positive step in his career.
“I'm super excited about the move to the Griquas' said the lock who can also play as a flanker.
“It is one of the clubs that I have been following since I arrived in South Africa in 2019. It is great being able to tick that box to come here.
“Hopefully it will also do my career good in terms of my development.
“So, I'm super excited and everything has been good since I got here.”
Muzanarwo has previously also represented the University of the Western Cape in the Varsity Cup.
