With only two tournaments remaining in the HSBC World Rugby 7’s Series the Blitzboks have been bolstered with the return of speedster Seabelo Senatla.
With Super Rugby taking a break for the June international break, the man with the jet shoes returns to the shorter format of the game for the team’s final two tournaments in London and Paris.
Senatla’s return will bode well for Coach Neil Powell who trails series leaders Fiji by 4 points after leading much of the series before surrendering the series lead to the islanders in Hong Kong at the beginning of April.
Should the South Africans want to regain the series lead and defend their title, the equation for the Blitzboks then is simple - a place higher than Fiji in London and Paris.
The Blitzboks will do battle in Pool D with Samoa, Canada and Russia when the London 7’s gets underway on the 2nd of June.
