The Toyota Cheetahs have made several changes to their side to face the Glasgow Warriors on Friday evening in the Guinness Pro14.

Malcolm Jaer earns a start after playing off the bench against Cardiff last week. Luther Obi comes onto the bench in his place with Rabs Maxwane dropping out of the 23.

Niel Marais starts at flyhalf, with Fred Zeilinga moving to the bench.

Upfront Charles Marais starts at loosehead prop, while Luan de Bruin starts on the tighthead. This see both Ox Nche and Aranos Coetzee moving to the bench. Tom Botha is back in South Africa after sustaining a calf injury.

Reniel Hugo returns from his elbow injury and replaces Rynier Bernardo in the starting line-up.

Henco Venter has also being named in the starting backrow at the expense of Tier Schoeman, who will don the number 20 jersey.

Schoeman, told OFM Sport that despite the difficult playing conditions they need to adapt of die.

“We travel out to Glasgow today from Edinburgh. Obviously it’s a big game for us, playing them here and it is also a must win game.

“We have to approach the game with everything we’ve got and despite the conditions it’s apart or die.

“As in with any other game, we must do whatever we can to win this game.”

The prop Ox Nche, who scored a try against the Cardiff Blues last week, says they although they are the underdogs they are excited at the challenge that lies ahead.

“We’re quite excited actually.

“We are playing against Glasgow tomorrow and we saw last week that we actually played well and had the game, but we couldn’t execute well enough.

“So we’re pretty excited and hoping for a win. We’ll just work towards that and build up for a win.”

The Warriors record of late hasn’t been as solid as it has been all season with the side edging Cardiff 20-15 and playing to a 15-15 draw against the Dragons.
