The level of the Vals River at the abstraction point has now dropped extremely low, therefore no water can be sourced from the river at this point in time.
This implicated water supply interruptions in the Kroonstad/Maokeng & Brentpark area. As counter measures, JOJO tanks will be placed at strategic points in Kroonstad, Maokeng & Brent park.
Consumers are once again urged to use water sparingly. The municipality apologizes for any inconvenience in this regard.
