Red meat producers' congress starts in Bloemfontein tomorrow | News Article

Bloemfontein - The Red Meat Producers' Organisation’s 2017 Congress starts in Bloemfontein tomorrow with attendees focusing on matters that will strengthen their enterprises within the meat industry.

One of the four participants is Prof. André Duvenhage from the North West University who delivered a paper on the road ahead for agriculture in South Africa this year.

Other speakers include Alex Cilliers, who will touch on the meat value chain and opportunities; Willie Clack from Unisa on how South Africans can help solve the stock theft problem; and Dr Danie Odendaal will focus on the health status of cattle.

Duvenhage elaborates on the congress and his address on South Africa in 2017 and the road ahead.
