Report: Winnie wants to bring Julius 'home'─── 08:12 Sun, 11 Mar 2018
ANC stalwart, Winnie Madikizela-Mandela, says she hopes to bring EFF leader Julius Malema back home to the ANC.
The SABC reports that Deputy President David Mabuza has also said he is considering approaching Malema and UDM leader, Bantu Holomisa, to request them to return to the ANC, saying that if they returned they could help the ruling party to govern the country for a long time.
Madikizela-Mandela was yesterday accompanying party President Cyril Ramaphosa on a walk-about at Maponya Mall in Soweto to encourage South Africans to register to vote.
The SABC quotes Madikizela-Mandela saying: “The constitution of our country is written in blood. The blood of our children, the blood of our fathers and for that remember as South Africans that we dare not mess it up. Please go and register to vote so that we can take out the DA and we can take out all the other parties and I know one day I will bring back my boy, Julius Malema. I’ll bring him home to the ANC.”
