#SAPS celebrate #HeritageMonth with song─── 09:09 Sat, 22 Sep 2018
The South African Police Service (SAPS) will today (Saturday) conclude its annual Police Music and Cultural Association (POLMUSCA) Unity Festival held in Kimberley, Northern Cape.
Police spokesperson Dimakatso Mooi tells OFM News that the two day POLMUSCA was this year held in the province to showcase the talent of men and women in blue.
Mooi says the festival was established 26 years ago to promote, develop, and to support crime prevention initiatives through community outreach programmes, such as Project Harmony.
She adds the National Commissioner of the SAPS, General Khehla Sitole, was also in attendance.
Mooi further says though their work is about helping those in danger and in great need, the POLMUSCA festival is a platform for our members to relax and reconnect with humanity.
