Mangaung servers still down, two weeks in─── JOSCA HUMAN 08:00 Fri, 20 Jul 2018
There has allegedly been significant progress made in the restoration of the Mangaung Metro Municipalities main server.
This comes after they have been battling to restore its main server for almost two weeks. Mangaung Municipal spokesperson, Qondile Khedama, said in a release that teams are on site and promise to give feedback as soon as the system is restarted. OFM News previously reported that the municipality’s crashed electronic systems has left employees idling at work, while communities have to bear the brunt of a lack of services. Khedama says they have communicated internally with workers that the data is already with banks and that employees will definitely be paid. This is after the Executive Mayor, Olli Mlamleli reinforced payment of all critical creditors which also includes workers. OFM News' Josca Human has more.
