The alleged Eastern Free State serial rapist, Mokena Nhlapo, was denied bail after appearing in the Fouriesburg Magistrate's Court this morning.
Nhlapo is facing multiple charges, including rape and human trafficking. He is known for luring young, unsuspecting girls into scams through social media.
The DA Woman’s Network (DAWN) Free State welcomed the magistrate’s decision. DAWN Free State’s chairperson, Deliwe Mvala-Majola, led DA activists in a picket outside the court.
She told OFM News that the accused showed no remorse for his actions. The picket was done as part of the DA’s campaign to combat gender-based violence against women and children.
