#SendMe: Ramaphosa gives up half his presidential salary─── 15:36 Wed, 23 May 2018
President Cyril Ramaphosa has delivered the Presidency’s budget vote speech in Parliament this afternoon.
Apart from focusing on areas of economic renewal and job creation, the fight against corruption and the re-establishment of public confidence in the integrity of institutions of the state, he gave up half his presidential salary.
Ramaphosa requested all South Africans to do anything they can in their walks of life or circles of influence to support and add impetus to the government's endeavours to build a prosperous and united society.
