CUT welcomes new leaders─── 16:35 Mon, 23 Apr 2018
Today 23 April 2018, the Central University of Technology had a media Meet- and-Greet with the newly appointed CUT leadership members.
The welcoming and Introductions were handled by Prof Henk de Jager, Vice-Chancellor and Principal of the Central University of Technology.
The two newly appointed staff members that were introduced to the community is Dr Gary William Paul and Mr Gcobane Quvile. The two new CUT members also had the opportunity to say a few words at the event. Dr Paul has been appointed as Deputy Vice-Chancellor: Resources and Operations (DVC: ResOps).
He started with his post on 16 April 2018. With a number of qualifications and a long employment history, he also has experience in both the industry and the Higher Ecucation sector that will definitely add great value to CUT.
Mr Gcobane has been elected as CEO/Director of CUT Innovation Services (CUTIs) and has already been on the job from 10 April 2018. Gcobane is also the owner of a few of his own businesses and he and his wife provide mentorship and financing to university students from Atteridgeville township.
