Two suspects facing charges of money laundering and the possession of stolen property are expected to appear before the Springbok Magistrate's Court in the Northern Cape on Monday.
This, after they were caught at the boarder gate of Namibia crossing over to South Africa with a large amount of money - over R2.6 million - and stolen property.
Police spokesperson, Nomthandazo Mnisi, told OFM News the two foreign nationals, Chinese citizen Chen Dangygin (40) , and Namibian citizen Jemin Stanraus (32), were arrested earlier this week at the Vioolsdrift Border post.
"The duo appeared in the Springbok Magistrate's Court on 15 February 2018 and they both remain in custody while awaiting their next court appearance," Mnisi added.
