#ANC54: #CR17 celebrations to take place at Hofman Square─── NOMAQHAWE MTEBELE 14:58 Mon, 18 Dec 2017
OFM News received information that Free State ANC members will be holding Cyril Ramaphosa celebrations at Hofman Square in Bloemfontein today.
This comes after the party’s national elective conference, where a new ANC president will be chosen, kicked off in Johannesburg on Saturday.
Results of the conference are yet to be released but are expected to be revealed later today.
Cyril Ramaphosa and Nkosazana Dlamini-Zuma are the two biggest contenders for the position.
Various branches from the Free State, North West and KwaZulu-Natal were barred from taking part in voting at the conference by courts. Delegates from these regions were given observer status.
