JCI adds voice to call for end to violence against women─── MOEKETSI MOGOTSI 07:39 Sat, 27 May 2017
Bloemfontein - The Junior Chamber International (JCI) has added its voice to the call for an end to violence against women.
Speaking to OFM News at a 'Not in My Name' gathering held in Bloemfontein yesterday afternoon, JCI National Director, Nozipho Dlali, said it’s every community’s responsibility to ensure that society’s attitude towards women is changed and that more needs to be done to protect the vulnerable.
A series of 'Not in My Name' marches and gatherings have been held around the country following brutal killings of women recently.
MEC of Agriculture in the Free State, Oupa Khoabane, was also in attendance. Khoabane said boys need to be brought up knowing that they have to respect women.
