The Proteas One-Day International side will be departing for England tomorrow with their tour including the 2017 ICC Champions Trophy.

The Proteas will face the English in three One-Day Internationals before the end of the month, which will serve as warm-up games ahead of their Champions Trophy opener against Sri Lanka of 3 June.

The team will also be playing into two warm-up matches against the county sides Sussex and Northants ahead of the three-match ODI Series.

South Africa are currently the number one ranked team in the 50-over format and considered as the favourites to break their ICC event hoodoo for their second major event title.

Meanwhile, the fiery fast bowler, Dale Steyn, will no longer be joining South Africa A for their tour to England. Steyn was set to make his comeback during the series after breaking a bone in his shoulder during the Test against Australia in November.

His injury is taking longer than expected to recover and his new comeback date is set for the series against Bangladesh in October.

Squad - Hashim Amla, Quinton de Kock, Faf du Plessis, AB de Villiers, JP Duminy, David Miller, Chris Morris,  Wayne Parnell, Andile Phehlukwayo, Kagiso Rabada, Imran Tahir, Dwaine Pretorius, Keshav Maharaj, Farhaan Behardien, Morné Morkel.
