Two days left before #FSSopa─── LUCKY NKUYANE 11:28 Sun, 23 Feb 2020
There are only two days left until the much anticipated State of the Province Address (SOPA) by Free State Premier Sisi Ntombela.
Pundits and the masses alike are waiting with baited breath to see if Ntombela will align the province with president Cyril Ramaphosa's goals, as set out during his State of the Nation Address (SONA).
With crime, poverty and most of the municipalities across the province in a sad state, she will be forced to outline some of the options at the sixth administration's disposal.
Like her North-West counterpart, Job Mokgoro, needed to shake off the VBS Mutual Bank saga, expectations are that Ntombela will follow suit and provide clarity on the progress report of the Estina Dairy and the old Ramkraal prison saga.
During her Sopa in February last year, Ntombela said in order to boost an investment drive, an investment book would be developed and provide an analysis of the provincial economy to detail investment opportunities.
