Statistics South Africa (StatsSA) launched another mini test as part of the second phase in preparation for the upcoming census in October next year.
The organisation says fieldworkers will collect data in specific regions across the country. The mini-test started this weekend and is scheduled to run until March 13.
Two regions in Central South Africa - Frances Baard, in the Northern Cape and Thabo Mofutsanyane, in the Free State – form part of the test. Respondents will be asked for information pertaining to demographics, migration, education, employment status and living conditions of the household.
