Klerksdorp gunman’s bail application postponed─── 14:15 Wed, 13 Nov 2019
The bail application of the suspect accused of shooting a well-known Klerksdorp businessman, Mohamed Dangor, in the Klerksdorp Magistrate’s Court is postponed to 20 November 2019.
This is according to police spokesperson, Aafje Botma, who told OFM News that the suspect, Tshiamo Confident Sekgoro, who resides in Mahikeng, remains in police custody.
OFM News previously reported that the shooting incident occurred earlier this week when an alleged heated argument ensued between Sekgoro and Dangor in the showroom of Speedy Car Sales. Botma also told OFM News that two other people were injured during the incident. Sekgoro handed himself over to the police after the incident.
Furthermore, Botma previously warned and cautioned the public to refrain from speculating or posting unconfirmed information. This comes after speculation that Sekgoro lost a court battle against the deceased over a business deal, fuelling speculation that the outcome of the case might have influenced his rage and led to the murder of Dangor. Police are, however, yet to confirm if this is true or not.
