22 people injured in NC accident─── OLEBOGENG MOTSE 08:39 Mon, 05 Aug 2019
Twenty-two people were left with serious to minor injuries after a vehicle and minibus taxi collided on the N12 outside Kimberley in the Northern Cape on Sunday afternoon.
ER24 spokesperson Ineke van Huyssteen tells OFM News the accident occurred before 13:00.
The circumstances surrounding the incident are not clear, but Van Huyssteen says the taxi had come to a stop near a railway track when emergency medical personnel arrived. She says the patients were transported to nearby hospitals for treatment.
