According to the ANC spokesperson, Thabo Meeko, the briefing will be held at the party's headquarters at the Kaizer Sebothelo Building to reflect on the outcomes of the PEC meeting.
The party is also expected to discuss the recent High Court ruling where the disgruntled members once again took the party to court regarding the outcome of the provincial conference.
The disgruntled members say they still maintain that proper procedure was not followed in electing the provincial leadership and want the court to declare the party’s 2018 provincial elective conference invalid, citing widespread irregularities.
However, the High Court in Bloemfontein last week dismissed the case with costs.
The disgruntled members say they are consulting their legal team to see if it would be best to take their case to the Appeal Court or head straight to the Constitutional Court.
The briefing is scheduled to start at 11:00.
