Malema: No compromises for land ownership in SA | News Article

The battle for land ownership has existed for many years and no compromises will be made in that regard until the land is returned to black South Africans.

It is, however, going to take a while. This was the message of the Economic Freedom Fighters’ (EFF) leader, Julius Malema, who addressed his supporters in Bloemfontein on Friday.

He briefly appeared in the Local Magistrate’s Court on charges of violating the apartheid-era Riotous Assemblies Act after he urged people to occupy vacant land. The matter was postponed last year pending the outcome of a case in the North Gauteng High Court, where Malema is challenging the constitutionality of this Act on grounds that it is constitutionally invalid.

Here is Malema….

It is reported that on December 16, 2014, during the party’s elective conference, Malema incited party members to commit a crime, by occupying any vacant land they came across. The case against EFF leader, Julius Malema, has been postponed to November 8 following a brief court appearance in the Bloemfontein Magistrate's Court.
