Cosatu says property ownership still racially skewed in South Africa | News Article

The trade union, Cosatu, says the lack of progress in expediting land reform remains a serious concern.

Cosatu says the crisis has worsened since 1994 despite government’s efforts and money spent and property ownership is deeply racially skewed.

Spokesperson, Siswe Pamla, says it is not ideal to amend the Constitution and especially Section 25 which establishes property rights, and the right to compensation when expropriated.  OFM News’, Christal-Lize Muller, spoke to Pamla…

This was Siswe Pamla spokesperson of the trade union Cosatu. The interview with Pamla will continue on Before Dawn only on “OFM” between 05:00 and 06:00 this coming Monday.

Pamla will share the union’s proposals on other legislation relevant to land and farm workers.
