The former North West University player will swap Polokwane for Kimberley next season and he will be a welcome addition to the team.

Haasbroek was the star player for the Impalas in the past season and his contributions with bat and ball led to the team from Limpopo winning the CSA Division 2 One-Day Cup title. He has previously played for the North West Dragons as well.

Apart from being a really astute player with both the bat and ball, he is also a very handy wicketkeeper if the need arises.

With the arrival of Haasbroek, the Heat does lose Hanu Viljoen who will be joining the Dolphins. Other players to leave the Heat are Grant Thomson who is heading back to Easterns, while the seamer Johan van Dyk is heading to the Knights. 

Van Dyk is current out injured after fracturing his right arm after being struck by a ball during a net session.

Meanwhile, in Division 1, the Titans made three big signings with the Proteas trio of Andile Phehlukwayo, Keegan Petersen and Sisanda Magala heading to Pretoria.
